Based on Brecht’s 1938 work, “the Private Life of the Master Race,” this play forces us to examine who we are, decide what we stand for, and most importantly, decide what we simply cannot stand for. Two timelines overlap – the main story plays out in pre-World War 2 Germany, where a group of artists and friends are caught up in the fall of democracy and the rise of Adoph Hitler, while the second timeline plays out in America in the 1980s. From the brilliant author of ANGELS IN AMERICA.
